At Molecular Gate, we are looking for a mid-level profile ( 3 – 6 years of experience) who wants to be a key player in a deep-tech startup at a genuine inflection point, moving from validated technology to first industrial sales.

Finance & Growth controller — this is not a pure finance role.
The majority of your time will be on financial planning, control and reporting. But a meaningful part will be spent on commercial strategy, market analysis and hands-on support to our go-to-market execution. If that 60/40 balance excites you, read on.
Finance:
→ Accounting supervision, monthly closes, P&L and balance sheet review
→ Forecasts, rolling budgets and investor reporting
→ Treasury and cash flow management
→ Economic justifications for public grants and subsidies
→ Fundraising support: financial modelling and data room preparation
Commercial:
→ Go-to-market strategy: segmentation, pricing and distribution channels
→ Competitor and market benchmarking across target sectors
→ Sales materials, client proposals and pitch decks.
What we are looking for
- 3–6 years as an Auditor and/or Financial Controller — mid-level profile
- Knowledge of Spanish GAAP and/or IFRS
- Fluent English — essential (written and spoken)
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis tools
- Experience in a startup or industrial company (highly valued)
- Familiarity with the VC and investor ecosystem (highly valued)
- Proactive, autonomous and comfortable wearing many hats
